Derived from the revolutionary mindset birthed in the neighborhood slums, we present to you Art Imitating Ockz. Arkmallah “Ockz” Hilliard the founder and benefactor of our foundation looks to give the world a glimpse into a universe of art inspired by an urbanely rough virtual reality.

On a quest to share a slice of what we call the “The Lifestyle.” Our mission is to be the literal and figurative embodiment of music, literature, art, fashion,and culture. Welcome to the realm of Art Imitating Ockz. 

A realm of intriguing images, intrinsic stories, and intransitive words that take action in the style of its inhabitants like fine cutlery. We all are attractive people in an ugly yet alluring world. We grow from the soil like vegetation and spread our unique sense of style across vast planes.  What we see as art other people see as truism. Our harsh realities are other peoples twisted fantasies.

Since the invention of sound the world has beat to our drum. Hip Hop, emceeing, singing, djing, producing, tagging, graffiti, break dancing, etc. We are from a place where we are dazzled by the lights of our own souls. Imitation is the best form of flattery.
